Visual Storytelling Project

For my visual storytelling project i want to make a comic strip consisting of seven images. I've always liked to draw simple pictures in Illustrator so I think I will use this tool to make the background and the body of my characters. I also want to mix real photos with drawn pictures, therefor I will take pictures of friends and use their heads as my characters heads. I will use Photoshop to mix all the images together and finish the cartoon.

My Idea for a story so far:

1. Fairies fly around in a fairy world
2. Introduction of the main character. A fat fairy is crying.
3. Three more fairies enter the picture and ask what is wrong.
4. The fat fairy tells them she is to fat to fly, and her wings cant lift her.
5. They tell her they can help her
6. They uses their magic wands to make her wings bigger
7. Everyone is flying around and the fat fairy is happy again.

Google maps

Using google maps was a new and fun way to tell a story. I've never thought about google maps as a tool to tell a story before. My google map was about the powerpuff girls. One thing I did not like about google maps was that that it tended to delete the images I put up, so I had do do it over and over again a million times. The same happened when i uploaded the youtube link into one of the spots. It was kind of irritating and I have no idea why it happened all the time. Other than that I think I managed to show the life of the powerpuff girls in the end.
